Throughout my life I have gone through many friends… some I am still close to, some I am not which is a shame. But there are only a few people I would consider family. My childhood friends Lily and Holly will always be sister figures to me, many happy summers and weekends spent with these two. They are two of the best people I know.
There are also the Best Friends from Secondary School and Sixth form who will always be my besties, there are not many people that you can just click right back into place with however long its been since we have seen each other. They know who they are They better had anyway 😉
And finally there are just three who I can call sisters from other misters… My mother has already adopted them and I can honestly say we will be friends forever… One is miles and miles away in a foreign country so here’s hoping she come back to us soon because we miss her, another is only a few miles away but we still do not see her often enough… and the last is right here under the same roof and probably thinking “how can I get rid of this queen” NEVER that is the answer, they all had better realize now they can never get rid of me… Ever.
Moving on to the subject… forgetting myself in smushy moments.
So it felt super long since Natalie and I had seen Hannah… our last encounter were a few fleeting moments at the Ideal Home Show a few weeks ago. So she came over after she finished work, so I went to meet her at the station because Nat was at work bless her… earning her pennies. We made a little trip to Sainsburys and got some goodies like pizza and just yummy stuff 🙂 when we arrived home it was nearing half past eight and so we waited patiently catching up on all the gossip and again waiting patiently… FINALLY Natalie entered how night of fun, with hugs and more hugs and then more catching up we ate pizza and brownies and little chocolate cornflaky things. It was a good night. When it was time for bedtime we didn’t sleep we stayed up just talking and laughing which was so lovely… it was weird how you miss things from living together for so long. Like Hannah likes wearing a dressing gown if she goes downstairs 🙂
The next day Hannah and I ganged up on Natalie and forced her to come shopping in Oxford Street with us… I had never been to Oxford Street before and let me tell you… The Primark there is AMAZING i almost got lost several times… we all got some fabulous purchases and spent sooo much time shopping there we only managed to go to one more shop before we had to make the journey back… Hannah stayed with us again HOORAY 😀 the second night was a little more chilled, it did include me burning garlic bread in the microwave/oven type thing… I did tell them all that I cannot cook and it would be a bad idea to let me do it, I think they’ll listen now 🙂
All in all it was another fabulous weekend, I love these girls, they are my sisters and I just wish Charlie would hurry her butt up and make the next four months go faster.
Honestly I can’t say I am unhappy because I have so many friends whom I consider family 🙂 Smushy moments over… xoxo 😉
